Well, they went and made me a "Student Leader"! I am now in command of Charlie Flight (roughly 50 airmen) and oversee such things as open ranks (uniform inspections), accountability, discipline issues, etc. I am basically an extension of the MTLs (Military Training Leaders).
I had to do about three weeks OJT (on-the-job-training) and then attend Airman Leader school. At ALS I had to pass the written test and properly march a flight (giving commands, "Right Face, Forward March, About Face" etc. I have now earned my "green rope" which signifies I am a student leader. The degrees of student leaders are green, yellow and red with more responsibility respectively. Even with completing all of the requirements it is still up to the MTLs if you get a rope or not. They actually have a "rope up" ceremony at morning formations. It's kind of cool.
Other than that, school is my main focus. It is very difficult and the stress level is tremendous. But at the same time I am learning amazing things and actually enjoy class in those rare stress free moments.
Basically my job is to travel to exotic locations, meet interesting people, kill those interesting people and break their stuff. Not a bad job!

Yea! You updated finally! We have all been anticipating this moment. You will have to give Ky your login so she can post things about Kres (and herself). :) Congratulations on the rope rank thing. You look very impressive in all your pictures. I am excited for you to be back home though--we miss you. I didn't realize you would travel a lot with this job? That is cool. I understand Ky and Kres are coming to visit. I bet you are so excited you can hardly stand it. Since Ky has been in Oregon we have really missed seeing her and Kresimir. Keep the posts coming we like hearing about what you are doing etc.
You are doing so good at your school--I'm so impressed! Keep up the good work! You look hot in your uniforms :)
Love you!
