C-130H Ride

This week I tagged along on a C-130H aircraft while it was performing combat maneuvers. I like to think I'm a hardcore, tactical warrior but after three hours of puking my guts out I have to realize I can be kind of a weenie some times. The pilots loved it. They were trying to set the record for most dry heaves. I think I separated a rib too...

This was taken right before the combat maneuvers began. If only that Clay knew what this Clay knows...

I laughed so hard when you told me that story. Very Top Gun.

Christy laughs about me puking. I don't get sick on commercial airlines anymore, but my first few trips were touch and go. I've also lost my lunch from running hard, going whale watching, going bass fishing... the list goes on and on. Having never ridden a tactical aircraft, I'm sure I would set the record. I've heard stories about the C-130s and Apaches. The pilots really do enjoy the show they get from inductees.

Clay will probably laugh before he finishes this sentence, but I don't need to mention the time I hurled chunks while running to Clay's house when we were much younger. Oh, the spectacle I gave the motorists passing by at Maple Grove and Overland was horrific. Very cool pic, Clay. At least you had the moxie to try it.
